The actor of Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Michael Cima, has been cast in the film adaptation of Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels. 

Michael Cimina is the only cast member to be announced at the ceremony. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be directed by Sam Mendes, with production to begin next year.

Cimina, who is best known for his role as a high school football coach in the HBO series The Wire, has made a name for himself as a television presenter and actor in recent years, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

He was also a regular on the hit Netflix series House of Cards.

Cima is currently appearing on the TV series Sherlock, and is set to appear in a film version of the same title.
