Hillary Clinton said Friday that she wants stronger gun laws in the United States to prevent mass shootings.

“I believe that we need to make sure that we do everything we can to make certain that we prevent the kind of mass shootings that we’ve seen in the past,” Clinton told MSNBC.

“The way that we can do that is to take action on all fronts.

So that we are more secure, more secure at the borders, more secured at the schools, more safe and secure in our communities.”

Clinton, a former secretary of state, is expected to announce her candidacy for president in New Hampshire on Sunday.

She was the first woman to declare her candidacy.
