In January, in his first public appearance since the deadly explosion, actor Jesse Johnson spoke of a ‘sad, sad day’ for his family.
“I know that I’m not alone in this,” he told reporters.
“My brother is here, my sister is here.
My cousin, my father and my uncle are here, too.”
The family, who is also actors, had been preparing for the return of Johnson to the UK, after spending two weeks in the country.
“He’s going to be back in the UK tomorrow,” his mother, Sandra Johnson, said at the time.
“The last few days have been a very sad day for us and for our family.
It’s just been really tough.”
Johnson’s father, Mike Johnson, was in London at the weekend to attend the funeral of his son, who died at the age of 25 on the night of November 27.
“We have lost a wonderful person, a very brave person,” Johnson said at a press conference on Sunday.
Johnson, who played the character Granada on “Granadios”, also starred in the BBC’s “Grim Sleeper” as an orphaned boy. “
And his heart was just filled with love and passion for all people.”
