Jason Mitchell has admitted that he’s a “toy” and said he wants the world to “blow up” when he “dies”.
In an interview with US outlet MTV, the “Sharknado” actor, who portrays The Lone Ranger, spoke about his role on the series.
“I have to be a ‘Toy’ to the world.
That’s what I’m going to do,” Mitchell said.”
So what does it mean?
It means I have to become more human and that’s what my character has to do, and I want people to know that,” he added.”
Toys are toys and you can buy them for yourself, and you don’t have to go through the trouble of making a toy and putting it into someone else’s hands.”
The 43-year-old actor, whose “Shrek” character is voiced by Chris Pine, said he’s not sure whether he’s going to see his “Shank” character again onscreen, despite the film’s popularity.
“Shank is an iconic character,” he said.
“So I think he’ll be around, and that he’ll still be in the movie.
That being said, I’m so excited about it.””
Maybe, in a way, I will.
That being said, I’m so excited about it.”
Mitchell said he hopes the movie will inspire a new generation of “toys” and “tricks” to follow.
“The idea that we could create a movie where you could buy a toy that says, ‘I’m going out to the ocean and I’m gonna go underwater and I’ll blow up a bunch of things’, I just want to blow it up and blow up everything,” he continued.
“That’s what toys are for.
I just wanna blow everything up.”
Mitchel said he also wants to “take back” his life and that, with “Shunk”, he’s “going to take it back” as well.
“If I could take back the life I had, I would.
I’m just really proud of the things I’ve achieved in my life,” he told MTV.
“I feel so lucky that I was able to do what I’ve done.
It feels good to have that.”
But, the only way I can get back to the life that I had is to blow things up.
And, I’ll do that.””
Shunk” opens in UK cinemas on September 28.
