Quinsy actor Evan “Darth Vader” Duan died Sunday night, the Warner Bros. Pictures studio said.
He was 42.
“Quinsy” Duana is best known for his roles in “Dunkirk” and “Logan Lucky.”
His credits include “The Wizard of Oz,” “Star Wars,” “Laverne & Shirley” and many more.
Quinsys father, Quentin, was a producer on “Laserhead” and a producer and writer on “The X-Files.”
Quinsypewriter Evan Duana died Sunday at his home in the San Fernando Valley, Warner Bros., the studio said in a statement.
He had been suffering from a rare form of leukemia for some time, the studio added.
The studio did not specify how Duan passed.
He will be remembered for his portrayal of Darth Vader in the “Star Trek” movies.
“His heart was full of light and he always kept his family in his thoughts and prayers,” the statement said.
“We are all deeply saddened by this news.”
The studio also thanked fans for their support.
“He was a true visionary and his passion for acting was infectious, and he left an indelible mark on the world of film and television,” the studio statement said, adding that he would be missed by all of us.
Quincys brother, Jason, said he was “heartbroken” by the news.
“This is a loss for our family and for the world,” Jason Duan told The Associated Press.
He added that the family was “very upset” to learn of Duan’s death.
